In 1928, Edgar and Lutie Perry moved into their elegant new home and immediately set a higher standard of gracious entertaining in Austin.

More than 80 years later, the Commodore Perry Estate continues its historical role as the city’s premier location for educational, civic, religious, and charitable events. Enclosed within a walled compound of nearly ten acres, the Estate enjoys a degree of privacy, seclusion, and grandeur seldom found in such a central location.

We invite you to browse the menu at the top of this page to learn more about the history of the Estate, its ongoing restoration, and its future uses.
